Carbon fiber was used to optimize every LeMond made component. These include the frame and fork, a monocoque handlebar-stem, custom carbon fiber fenders, and seat post. In addition, LeMond teamed up with Munich Composites to develop a state-of-the-art carbon braided wheelset with tune hubs, as an upgrade option.

An 11-speed Shimano drivetrain combined with a lightweight build allows the Prolog to ride well over any terrain.
